People Operations Partner
Your Role:
We’re looking for a People Operations Partner to be a reliable, high-touch operator for our global workforce. You’ll own the day-to-day People Ops engine such as onboarding, offboarding, employee lifecycle transactions, data quality, and employee support while also stretching into employee relations support and cross-functional People projects as needed.
This is a hands-on, execution-first role: roughly 70% core People Operations and 30% adjacent work (employee relations support, analytics, systems, and special projects). You’ll work across regions and time zones, not as a single-region specialist, and you’ll help keep our processes consistent, compliant, and human as we scale.
If you like making operations feel invisible when they work and you’re curious about how AI and modern HR systems can take the busywork out of People work this role will fit.
What you’ll do
Process a high volume of employee lifecycle work such as onboarding, offboarding, transfers, job/comp changes, and related requests. Coordinate cross-functional follow-through so employees and managers get timely, high-quality support.
Partner with employees and leaders across regions and time zones. Execute global People processes while navigating local nuances so support feels consistent and locally aware.
Provide benefits support where needed, including answering employee questions, helping with enrollments or life event changes, and coordinating with vendors or specialists on more complex issues.
Maintain accurate, audit-ready employee files and HRIS records. Flag data gaps, process breaks, and compliance risks early, and help keep the People tech stack running smoothly.
Triage employee and manager questions on policies, processes, benefits, and systems. Know when to resolve it yourself, when to loop in Benefits/Payroll/Legal/IT, and when to escalate.
Handle sensitive situations with discretion and sound judgment.
Pull and clean reports from the HRIS and adjacent systems (headcount, starters/leavers, tenure, and other people metrics). Help maintain dashboards and turn raw data into clear, usable summaries for the People team and leadership.
Support high-impact People initiatives: HRIS/ATS improvements, workflow redesign, policy rollouts, audit prep, and other cross-functional projects.
Look for practical ways to use AI and automation to reduce manual work (FAQs, documentation, reporting, request triage, process mapping) while staying thoughtful about privacy, accuracy, and employee trust.
What we’re looking for
Required
1–3 years in People Operations, HR Operations, HR Coordinator/Generalist, or a closely related role
Experience supporting the employee lifecycle (onboarding, offboarding, and day-to-day HR transactions)
Comfort working with a global or multi-country workforce, or clear evidence you can learn local nuances quickly and operate across time zones
Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through in a high-volume environment
Clear, professional written and verbal communication including with employees and managers
Discretion with confidential employee information
Confidence in spreadsheets (Excel or Google Sheets) and HR systems; able to pull reports, spot data issues, and keep records clean
A service mindset: you default to helpful, calm, and reliable, even when volume is high
Comfort in a fast-moving environment: you can juggle competing priorities, stay composed when things are busy, and still deliver accurate work without losing the human touch
Nice to have
Hands-on experience with modern HRIS platforms such as HiBob, Rippling, Workday, BambooHR, or similar
Exposure to employee relations (intake, documentation, case tracking, or supporting investigations)
Experience supporting employee benefits (questions, enrollments, life events, or vendor coordination)
Experience supporting systems or process projects (HRIS implementation, workflow redesign, audit, or policy rollout)
Genuine interest in AI and how it can improve People operations (tools, prompts, automation, documentation)
Startup, high-growth, or similarly fast-paced experience
Experience in a remote or multi-entity environment
