About the Role

The initial phase will focus on business analysis, information architecture, metadata standardization, and security/access governance. The long-term roadmap includes implementing an AI-powered solution on top of the knowledge base at the end of 2026 / beginning of 2027.

This role requires a strong analytical mindset, excellent stakeholder management skills, and experience working at the intersection of business processes, enterprise content management, and digital transformation.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand current knowledge management processes, pain points, and future-state objectives.

Analyze and document business requirements, functional requirements, and user stories.

Assess the existing SharePoint knowledge base and define recommendations for restructuring content organization and metadata.

Design and improve taxonomy, metadata models, document classification, and searchability.

Define information governance standards, including document lifecycle, ownership, and content quality.

Work closely with security and compliance teams to ensure appropriate access controls and permissions for sensitive pricing and market access information.

Facilitate workshops with business users to identify opportunities for process improvements and knowledge standardization.

Partner with technical teams to translate business requirements into implementation plans.

Support the preparation of the knowledge base for future AI-driven search, retrieval, and knowledge management capabilities.

Participate in solution validation, UAT planning, and change management activities.

Produce high-quality business documentation, including process flows, business rules, requirements, and functional specifications.

Required Qualifications

5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or Business Systems Analyst.

Strong experience gathering and documenting business and functional requirements.

Experience working with SharePoint or other enterprise content/document management platforms.

Understanding of metadata management, taxonomy design, and information architecture.

Experience defining business processes and facilitating process improvements.

Knowledge of document governance, access management, and security concepts.

Excellent stakeholder management and workshop facilitation skills.

Experience working in Agile delivery environments.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Upper-Intermediate or higher English.

Nice to Have

Experience in the pharmaceutical, healthcare, or life sciences industry.

Knowledge of Market Access, pricing strategy, reimbursement, or commercial operations.

Experience with enterprise search or knowledge management initiatives.

Familiarity with Microsoft Purview or other information governance solutions.

Experience preparing enterprise knowledge repositories for AI or Generative AI initiatives.

Understanding of AI-powered knowledge management, semantic search, RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation), or enterprise copilots.

Experience collaborating with Data Engineers, AI Engineers, or Solution Architects.

What You'll Work On

You will play a key role in a strategic knowledge transformation initiative supporting the organization's Market Access and Pricing functions.

During the first phase, you will help redesign and organize an enterprise SharePoint knowledge repository by improving document structure, metadata, governance, and security for sensitive pricing information.

This work will establish the foundation for a second phase, where the organization plans to implement AI-powered capabilities—including intelligent search, knowledge retrieval, and assistant experiences—to improve access to business knowledge and accelerate decision-making. The Business Analyst will help ensure that the underlying content and business processes are structured to maximize the value of these future AI capabilities.
