Talent Acquisition Sourcer
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Talent Acquisition Sourcer supports the Manager, Talent Acquisition in delivering high-volume recruitment across assigned business areas. The role focuses on generating, engaging, screening, and maintaining a consistent flow of qualified candidates for current and anticipated vacancies. Working closely with the Manager, Talent Acquisition and hiring teams, the Sourcer executes multi-channel sourcing and attraction activities, conducts initial candidate assessments, coordinates efficient handoffs, and maintains accurate applicant tracking system records. Success in this role requires strong organization, responsiveness, candidate care, and the ability to manage a high level of activity while meeting quality, compliance, and service expectations.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION:
Partner with the Manager, Talent Acquisition to understand high-volume hiring priorities, role requirements, target profiles, timelines, and candidate flow expectations.
Execute multi-channel sourcing strategies using the applicant tracking system, job boards, professional and social networks, employee referrals, databases, community partners, career events, and targeted outreach.
Review inbound applications at pace, identify qualified candidates, and conduct timely initial phone or video screens to assess experience, motivation, availability, compensation expectations, and basic role fit.
Proactively identify and engage active and passive candidates through Boolean search, talent database mining, networking, and personalized outreach.
Build and maintain ready-to-engage talent pipelines for recurring, high-volume, and anticipated vacancies; re-engage previous applicants and silver-medalist candidates when appropriate.
Present qualified candidate shortlists and clear screening notes to the Manager, Talent Acquisition and support efficient handoffs for interviews and selection decisions.
Maintain frequent, professional communication with candidates, provide timely status updates, answer routine questions, and ensure a positive and consistent candidate experience from first contact through handoff or disposition.
Support job posting, recruitment campaign, hiring event, referral, and recruitment marketing activities; promote the employer value proposition consistently in candidate communications.
Coordinate interviews, assessments, candidate documentation, and pre-employment steps as needed to keep high-volume processes moving efficiently.
Maintain accurate and timely candidate records, source information, screening outcomes, dispositions, and activity notes in the applicant tracking system; safeguard data quality and confidentiality.
Track and report sourcing and funnel metrics such as outreach activity, response rate, qualified candidates, conversion rates, time to shortlist, aging, and source effectiveness; flag pipeline risks early.
Use recruitment data and candidate feedback to suggest practical improvements to sourcing channels, outreach messages, workflows, and candidate conversion.
Apply consistent, job-related screening criteria and support recruiting activities in accordance with applicable employment laws, equal employment opportunity requirements, data privacy obligations, and internal policies.
Provide flexible sourcing and recruitment support across functions, locations, or shifts based on changing business demand, and contribute to talent acquisition projects and process improvements.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Communications, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant experience.
1+ years of experience in talent sourcing, recruiting, staffing, recruitment coordination, or another high-volume candidate-facing environment.
Demonstrated ability to source and engage candidates through applicant tracking systems, CV databases, job boards, social media, professional networks, referrals, and internet search techniques.
Experience reviewing applications and conducting structured initial candidate screens against defined job-related criteria.
Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple requisitions, candidate pipelines, deadlines, and a high volume of activity with accuracy.
Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to craft effective candidate outreach and deliver a positive candidate experience.
Customer-focused, collaborative approach and ability to work effectively with the Manager, Talent Acquisition, recruiters, hiring managers, candidates, and external partners.
Sound judgment, attention to detail, discretion, and commitment to maintaining confidentiality and accurate recruitment records.
Comfort working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities, service-level expectations, and time-sensitive hiring needs.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and applicant tracking or recruiting systems; experience with Greenhouse or a comparable ATS preferred.
Ability to interpret basic recruitment funnel data and use metrics to prioritize activity and improve sourcing effectiveness.
Knowledge of fair and consistent selection practices, equal employment opportunity principles, and candidate data privacy expectations preferred.
Experience supporting high-volume recruitment for commercial and office-based positions across multiple countries within EMEA and APAC is preferred.
Ability to travel up to 10% for recruiting events, hiring activities, or business needs.
Netherlands Pay Range
€40.000—€50.000 EUR
